Based On 5 reviews.
Just started this engine and ran for the first time. Started as easy as my DLE 30 and seems to pull as hard or harder. I am very pleased with this purchase thus far.
So I bought this motor for my 30-35cc raven I installed it and everything took it outside it fired up after about 5 flips didn’t have to touch the needle at all. I then proceed to fly it, it fires it right up, I then takeoff plane is a little tail heavy so i fix it but don’t fly it again for about 2 weeks so then I take off and about 3 mins into my flight the clunk in my gas tank comes of motor dies I make a hard landing ripped the landing gear out so then we fix it and go to fly again it doesn’t start. So we clean out the carburetor doesn’t fix it, spark plug is making a spark, it’s getting fuel, so we order a new carburetor, that doesn’t work so then we put a new ignition on there it doesn’t fire. We make sure that there’s no shorts in any of the wires, so im really looking for help more than trying to post a bad review so im going to give it a good review but please someone help me out.
Hello,
Please give us a call, and we will be happy to help you with it.
Thank You
I bought this to put in my GP Venus. Took a bit of messing around as the throttle was on the opposite side of the engine I had in it. The VV people were very helpful and I rotated the carb with no problems. It took a few (many) flips to get it started the first time. After that, it ran flawlessly. I never touched the needles. Nobody would believe that it ran this good out of the box. I'm very happy with how it is performing.
Bought this engine to fly my many year old One Design. Engine stars are easy and it runs well. My airplane has a never exceed speed which is quite low, so I've been flying on half throttle most of the time. Engine pulls well on the 18X8 prop. This engine is a great value for the money and should be considered for your next 30-35cc model.
Bought this engine to power my 72" scratch built Taylor Craft weighing out at 12 lbs. This engine pulled like a rocket and flew the T-Craft scale at 1/2 throttle. Engine starts easily and required very slight tweaking of the carb. Flies very well with a 18X8 prop.
