I only buy VVRC engines. They are all great running, reliable and economical. I have installed them in Giant scale warbirds, fun birds, and pattern planes. At the field club members are astonished with how little trouble I have tuning and starting these engines. I have converted a members over to the wonderful world of VVRC engines. My most recent purchase is the VVRC 21 Twin mounted on an ugly stick. What a ton of fun. More time flying and less time fiddling with an engine. Thanks Tom and I for one appreciate your great work on these engines.
Put this on a Seagull Classic Ugly Stick. 71" 8 lbs. Runs great. Not over powered. Would not start by hand for me. Fires right up with my old Sullivan starter on 3S lipo. Great to have parts and service from VVRC.
Purchased this for my new SkyWing 67” Extra NG.
Was goin to install a DLE 20 but when I checked measurements this would fit. Decision made.
With an electric starter it fired right up. Expected some kind of fuel draw issues on new engine. Didn’t have any. I did richen both idle and top end a little on first tank. Second tank was fly it. I break in engines in the air. Never tried to die. While a little heavier then a single I’m very happy with results and how much smoother this little bugger is. My first twin and probably not my last. Get the 40 back in stock!
awesome, reliable little engine, plus the people at VVRC are top shelf!
I put this in an osmw Robin Hood 80. Compact. Strong. Starts on the third flip. Just awesome
Strong reliable and smooth running with a nice sound this little engine is perfect in my Hangar 9 10cc Ultra Stick.
I ha been flying with this 21cc twin on my Hangar 9 Ultra Stick 10cc the past six months and I love this engine it is a reliable little power house of an engine turning a 16x8 prop and perfect for this plane. Yes I would and will buy it again. 5 stars from me!
