This is the Carburetor for use on the DLE Engines DLE-30/35cc and RCGF 30T Gas Engine.
Note; Same photo was used for all carburetor ad's, there may be a small difference in each carburetor but are all genuine Walbro replacement carburetors.
Based On 4 reviews.
This carb will also replace the WT813A found on the Syssa 30. Runs better, and eliminates the goofy spring loaded shutter Syssa originally used for a choke. I suspect it would also replace the WT805 found on pterodactyl PTE-36R if you swapped the external pulse style pump cover onto this one (haven’t tried yet). With Walbro having discontinued nozzle check valve assemblies, these quality carbs at an affordable price are great.
I bought a brand new DLE 35ra and it wouldn't draw any fuel so I decided to put a Valley View carb on it now the engine runs great.
I've been flying with this engine for a few years. It's always been touchy at idle. As I go to idle, it slows down then speeds up, then I adjust idle trim so it will land. Finally got tired of seeing if I can get rid of it and bought the Walbro. Completely different engine. Comes down to a super slow idle and it stays there. Excellerates back to full power real smooth and clean. I've been flying gas planes for years with several sizes. The dle engines seem great. Carbs not so good. My other 30 has walbro and is fine. My dle 60 is going to get the upgraded walbro carb. I'll do a review when I get it on and ops check it good. It does the same funny thing at idle also.
WOW what a difference! I fought with the stock carb on my DLE-30 for 3 days and only ended up with frustration and a very sore flipping arm. After some research and a couple of questions to VVRC, I went ahead and bought this carb, which is a genuine Walbro 1115 with a VVRC pump cover plate. It was a drop-in fit. The picture shows the fuel nipple coming straight out, but the one I received had the requisite 90 degree bend. The OEM carb's servo arm extender also fit perfectly, but one is included with the VVRC carb just in case you need one. After the usual choking it fired up just fine on the default needle settings which were a little rich as expected. After about 10 minutes of needle adjustments with the tach, it idles nicely around 1700rpm and peaks around 7300 with an 18x8 prop, 32:1 natural oil, and ethanol-free gas (yes, you can still get it if you look!)
Yes, you can find the OEM carb elsewhere for less, but isn't that the same carb you're swearing at right now?
