Plugs in to spare channel on receiver

Opto Isolation separates ignition power system from radio system.

Allows you to kill the engine remotely by disconnecting power to the ignition.
Bright red remote mounting LED to let you know the ignition has power.
This is a must have safety device for gas powered planes.

Will also kill the ignition if you lose power to your receiver (dead battery etc)

Reliable & saves weight, as you don’t need to use another servo and mechanical micro switch.

Some Common FAQ's

Qn. How to they handle PCM Failsafe, will they keep the ignition going, or react to the failsafe setup for the particular channel of the rx?
If programmed in PCM to keep a signal going to the unit then yes it stays ON Otherwise a Loss of signal engine turns off.

Qn. If the RX loses power, Im assuming the ignition is killed?
Yes.

Qn. Does the switch monitor for valid rx signal etc?
Yes 30 Valid pulses are required to sustain operation

Qn. Can the switch handle multicyl igintions with higher current draw (ie DA100/150's , multi cyl 3W's )
Yes, the 3W 420 has been used ( Can handle up to 10 amps of Ign power)
